The Imam a’Shafi’i Foundation is an educational institution established in August 1987 by Somali scholars in Mogadishu. It is registered under the Somali Civil Law and is one of the founding members of the Formal Private Education Network in Somalia (FPENS).
Since its establishment, the Foundation has been committed to
providing quality education rooted in Islamic values, promoting
discipline, and building the moral, spiritual, and intellectual capacity of Somali youth.
The Foundation manages several schools offering elementary,
intermediate, and secondary education, serving thousands of students
each year.
To nurture a decent citizen with strong moral values, deep understanding, and practical skills capable of contributing meaningfully to society and understanding universal knowledge.
To promote high-quality education through a well-developed curriculum, professional teacher training, and a conducive learning environment that integrates Islamic values with academic excellence.
