This year, Imam Shafi’i Foundation Schools celebrated 39 years of educational service in Mogadishu — nearly four decades of building knowledge, character and discipline in generations of Somali students. What began as a modest institution has grown into a network of schools across the city, known for combining academic excellence with strong Islamic values.
Staff, students and alumni marked the milestone as a reminder of the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to the community, and as motivation to continue expanding access to quality education for Somali families in the years ahead.
